So please join me with NFTB and Christian Ker to guide have conversations with our partners.[music] >> Hello, my name is Christian Kerr, the vice president of the Amir and Latan partner organization at NetApp. Today we're here at VMware Explore 2022 and I'm joined by two customers and alliance partners. So first of all, I'd like to introduce Paul from Fujitsu. Paul, welcome. Hi, Paul Kembber from Fujitsu, head up our alliances team in Europe. >> And Sunny from VMware. Do you want to introduce yourself? >> Hi, I'm Sunonny Sajal. I'm the global alliance director for Fujitsu at VMware. >> Right. So, we know it's all about the cloud these days, right? It's all about hybrid multicloud. You know, speaking to various customers, partners, alliances around the room today, everything's about cloud. So the power of us three coming together, we're really solving customers problems. Paul, what are you observing right when you're speaking to customers? What are they looking for? >> Well, I think the first thing they're looking for is that safe pair of hands. There's a huge amount of uncertainty out there at the moment. We all know the political situation, energy costs, skill shortages, customers have been bombarded. So they're looking for safe pair of hands, people who can advise how to make that journey. VMware used the phrase PL move out of cloud pales to cloud smart and I think that's where the power of our partnerships can actually be that safe advisor that create that journey for our customers. >> Fantastic. Sunny, what about you? Are you hearing the same things? >> Oh, absolutely. And you know to echo and add on to what Paul has just said, you know, they're also looking for a trusted adviser as a partner that can deliver the solutions that we together have created as NetApp and Fujitsu together with VMware solutions underpinning it all. So whether it is existing customers that have been maybe on vSphere for years and looking to adopt going forward a foundation for the cloud which could be VMware cloud foundation. We have solutions that work together with NetApp enabling that primary storage together and getting you to that foundation point that baseline to take you to the next level. And that really brings in digital resilience digital a capability that not just hasn't been there before. >> That's brilliant. Spot on actually. That's just what I've observed. So I think, you know, if I'm sort of capturing what both of you are saying, it's when we put the customer at the center of everything we do, it's about providing choice for those customers. You know, whether they want to manage that workload on prem, in a hybrid cloud environment, or in the public cloud. You know, together we are enabling and providing those solutions. And >> and that's a key point. Everyone's at a slightly different starting point. And actually it's about getting that right workload in whichever of those choices. Be it onrem, being in a sovereign cloud, be it in a multitude of uh public clouds where there's a huge choice and you're looking to have that management, that security, that operational control over wherever you put that and that's where they need the three of us to come together and that's why we're all together here at the show. Yeah, andwe have a pedigree of working together for 15 plus years and you know we've just been building on that over and over from that on premise data center that we're all so familiar with. Well, now we're really taking that to the next level to the multicloud together as well withyour technologies that we've worked on together. Right. >> It is. It's true. Right. And it's continued innovation. We're going to continue to deliver that over the coming years. We've built a tremendous platform for our customers.
