When we're at the track, the weather is one of the biggest uh unknowns to us. So, we obviously do a lot of modeling of that and trying to understand how it's going to [music] impact the race weekend because it can often be order one to your result. And so we do a lot of research prior to each event. We historical database, [music] but also in the week or so building up to the event, we're looking at the weather patterns, updating our models, and using NetApp to get hold of that historical data straight away is [music] uh is a very useful tool to us. Prior to a race weekend, we run through the likely scenarios and try to cover as many [music]uh simulations of all the different variables and how thetires are going to perform andhow the environment is going to influence that. During a race weekend when it is wet and [music] it's wet throughout and changing, we run even more simulations because that's where the environment is changing so much and the results could change so much. You have to be able to adapt live uh to what's happening. and all our timing and performance data is fed into our tools and tries to help us make the right decisions. [music] You sat on the pit wall um and you can see a rainfront coming in uh you're constantly updating your simulations both [music] at the track and also we're supported in mission control but the reality is it doesn't always happen exactly as the forecasting and the modeling say always trying to simulate and understand the weather data. Um but it is definitely a stressful [music] and challenging part of the pit wall work and you have to rely on your data and your previous understanding and simulations to hopefully be on the front foot front and we use the [music] power of NetApp to access that data um at your fingertips and it's uh it's been a really useful addition [music] to our tool set.
