(upbeat music) I was born in Australia, missing my left hand. I found myself loving sport and using sport as a platform to be able to share my story. So I represented Australia in the sport of swimming for about eight years and that then gave me an even bigger platform to be able to talk about diversity and inclusion and disability. I was contacted by Simon Pollard, the CEO of COVVI, wanting for me to try the technology of the COVVI Hand and to share that journey. And the fact that I'm able to do things that I've never been able to do before and how that is benefiting not only me, but my children and they're able to see how technology is making changes in a positive way. So basically, there are around about 480 components in a hand and all the componentry on the electronic PCB boards is basically put into the same interface. That connects via app. We can connect to any hand, anywhere in the world. Remotely change the configuration, which is groundbreaking. We're not looking to fix or put people back together who might be living with a disability, but how can we enhance the human capabilities that are already there? My goals and my motivation are all around the future and future generations. COVVI is a prosthetics business that, in essence has been formed to change as many people's lives around the world as possible. (light music)
