Monitor and run hybrid cloud data services
Hello everyone back into the floor. I'm Daniel Lopez here with Paul Nerm leader at cloud in the office of the CTO for computer center. Paul welcome to >> awesome I appreciate your effort. I would like to kind of first start with >> would you like to share something about how computer center help our customers? Yeah. So, um, Computer Center, as you know, are a global organization. We have something like 20,000 employees. Um, we are a contractual services provider, a managed services provider and also a technology sourcing provider. Um, and we work primarily with a lot of the well-known ISVS, many of whom are obviously here today. Good. >> Um, including VMware and NetApp. Um, and we're doing a lot of business in the multi cloud space as we know. >> Um, which obviously this conference is very heavily focused on. >> Uhhuh. I like because youhad the C in the booth and it was all about multiloud. I think that is kind of a mandate now in this nowadays infrastructure environments. Would you like to share more about howyou at computer center help customer in the multiloud journey? >> Sure. So we are seeing um within our regular conversations that we have with our enterprise customers, they're consistently having challenges around their multiloud adoption and that's primarily because over time they've looked to adopt um both on both public and on premise clouds. Um and they've done that in a way that um isn't particularly very structured over time. Okay,>> which has left them in a space where they are now having an issue with operations security. they have acomplete lack of centralization of resourcing um and of andof that kind of operational management ofthat infrastructure. Um so we are trying to understand what our customers challenges are and then working with them to address those challenges through a number of services that we thatwe provide to >> No makes totally sense because once you start mixing clouds on prem everything gets complex everything is different technology and so there is where we can get the most out ofyou as a partner and kind of be with our customers in the journey and solve the complexity for them right >> absolutely>> take that piece out >> absolutely>> okay I love it so howwould you say like how can we reach computer how can interact with you guys so understand more of your services, how can you solve solutions that you have, how can we reach you? >> Yeah. So I think you can reach us through our website obviously and through your partner sales representative. Um one of the things that we thatwe've done is we we've produced a multi cloud um reference architecture blueprint in a that's kind of spread across a number of key areas. So obviously security and networking be being one uh being two of those areas, automation and visibility um and the multi cloud data services area which is very much where NetApp play and obviously that's part of the conversations that we've been having with you guys especially um and then how we can effectively work with our customers in addressing those challenges and we have a number of services in that area that would be very happy to talk to our customers. >> That's great. I mean I think youplay a key role in this nowadays in hybrid and cloud kind of world complexity get that out for customers. So super happy to bring you here and be have the chance to speak with ourNetApp TV viewers. I appreciate the effort of Paul.
