[Music][Applause][Music]thank you I'd like to welcome Giorgio vanzini vice president and strategic partners and alliances dxc really appreciate you joining us today but we'll talk aboutour partnership and the things we're doing together for our mutual customers yes thank you great to be here let me give you some background on the DXE company itself for your audience so we're a Fortune 500 IT company we have roughly about 130 000 people in 70 countries worldwide we do a lot of the cloud migration and uh Cloud you know hybrid migration work for our customers we do roughly 65 000 workloads you know migrations a year we do application migrations 15 000 roughly a year for our customers and super excited to be here to talk with NetApp about our partnership well tell me about your customers and why they come to dxc it really is about the transformation um from you know on-prem to cloud or hyper approach and so it really is kind of all about the cloud rights kind of strategy that we have and so working together with our partners like NetApp is really key toour you know joint Endeavor and the trust that our customers putting us froma partnership perspective so what is it that feels about the dxt partnership and let's talk about the magic that happens between us the magic really comes to Bear when we talk about what we call our Cloud right strategy so Cloud right assumes that we're going to do the right thing for the customers be that on-prem or in cloud in public clouds and also leveraging our partner technology so NetApp is a prime example how we leverage this for our customers and do the implementation and this is on a worldwide basis and it's all about trust right and trusting the ecosystem and trusting the partners that we bring today for our customers and I think that's what we bring to bear for our customers here that's always the key I know that for many years that's why people come to you you've got complex environments Mission critical environments that make or break their business and that is a Paramount of your business and we're very happy to help them support absolutelyyou're spot on it's all about the agility right and the transformation that we bring together so tell us about what your customers are on their hybrid Cloud Journey so part of the cloud Journey a lot of the challenges they have is obviously the complexity about migration Security application data you know all the things that come with it and the way that we try to differentiate together with our partners like NetApp is we think about the gis stack and the GBS stack in the GPS stack we really think about the applications andthe top level kind of services and unique value proposition that we bring to bear and the gis stack that's really where we leverage NetApp for example this is the cloud infrastructure this is where we do a lot of the iOS implementation you know the back end implications the services that really come to Bear there so that really is the focus for us to build on that stack together with NetApp so how are the customers using them in their business well we're really leveraging the NetApp technology for world-class operations and implementations for our customers examples are craft Heinz you know Citrix Baker use and they're really counting on our implementation for NetApp to save cost you reduce complexity but also make it Mission critical and secure and So based on that I think we have a great implementation and as I mentioned before a great partnership that we're actually working together well I know for Juniper they had a strategic business separation happening they needed to do this fast they wanted to put a lot of it in the cloud and that's what you helped we helped them do together is put their sap implementation in the cloud for you yes you absolutely spot on that was a great migration from Eon when they separated out and so as you pointed out is like there was a proof point of our Partnership of the flexibility the agility that we brought to speed and the technical implementation to make that actually happen for our customer and so that's a great case study of like how we can actually work together and have the right impact for our customers the cloud is constantly evolving so how's DXE adapting to that yes that's a great question when you live in our industry evolution is the norm right you know change is constant and so it's very exciting at least from our perspective to continuously learn new technologies Implement new technology stacks and evolve with our customers together right so we're creating new Solutions we're creating new offerings together so I think we'rein this constant motion of getting better together into the future and doing the right thing for our customers because they're evolving too right their business models are evolving the technology stack is evolving and so we're addressing those needs by continuing moving in love step with our partners
