Monitor and run hybrid cloud data services
[music] Well, hello everyone. I'm Dar Lopez as you know and here we are with Christian K, our VP of Iman Latan partner organization. Welcome Christian. >> Thank you Dario. It's a real pleasure to be back in these environments. Right. For the last two years, we haven't been to come together to embrace and mix with hundreds of customers, partners about the huge opportunity in front of us. So, thank you. Thank you for inviting me. >> No, that's perfect. Our pleasure. And I know that you have been here doing some interviews, but now it's your turn. And I would like to ask kind of few questions, relax questions, so don'tworry that much. But first, starting here, we are at the VMware Explore of Barcelona. I would like toknow from you to hear from you how do you think this strengthened partnership with VMware or what it means to our partner ecosystem? >> Yeah, Ithink um you know we've been working withVMware foryears, right? And it's about continued innovation to strengthen the partnership. But you know the reason why we're doing it is we're putting the customer at the center of everything, right? And you know, we need to deliver outcomes that are going to support their customers, you know, across the different environments they're operating in. So werecently just announced an extension of the partnership which creates huge opportunity for our customers and partners with VMware cloud and FSXN for NetApp on tap. >> Mhm. So now can wecan escalate independently the storage and the compute. That's great. And you think that does bring a lot of opportunity to our partners that traditionally worked withNetApp, right? Yeah, absolutely. Right. So, I think it's all about the ecosystems coming together >> to deliver solutions, right? Andpartners are more critical than ever, right? Because we're moving into a hybrid environment, right? So, >> customers are looking to partners to support them as they move applications and workloads from an on-rem environment into a hybrid environment or into the public cloud. Right? And there's a huge services opportunities, capabilities, skills to deliver that. And it's not about the delivery, it's also about how customers want to consume cloud on their terms, right? So we're looking more and more at consumption and as a service models.>> Yeah, that's great. And I think that that's is super linked with the evolved cloud concept that we bring and as you said that brings more maybe complexity in these new hybrid walls orjust kind of multi cloud environments. So do you think thatis the bigger opportunity for c for partners kind of to be cloud focused? Would you say like it's a must for a partner to be now looking into the cloud? >> Absolutely. Right. I think you know the cloud is where the opportunity is, right? The bigger opportunity in front of us. Of course, you know, we continue to innovate on onrem but cloud you know creates the biggest opportunity for us and our partners and they are at the front and center of this huge opportunity.>> That's great.Thank you very much Christian K. I mean I love to hear from you with all that knowledge. So appreciate the time, appreciate the effort with the camera for you. >> Thanks Dario. Thank you.
