Hi there. My name is Sean Norris, and I was asked to share some thoughts on the 25th anniversary of NetApp in Australia. So I was there at the beginning. I joined NetApp in May 2000, coming from a partner reseller called Provision. The Australian NetApp team was less than 10 people at that point, and I think in our first year we turned over less than $5 million. It was a crazy time from then on, but we,were managing through hypergrowth and true hypergrowth more than a hundred percent year on year. We were doubling a business. We were doubling staffing, doubling the team size every year. Everything was doubling or more than doubling. It was really a hot house environment. And what was amazing was at that. I think that's really at the point where the culture of the company and,the focus on our customers was so important. We built great relationships with key banking, government, and telecommunications customers. Technical innovation remain constant and frequent. Probably tell it like tech, the tech is great. This place has always been about the people, and that's what's kept me here. Really. I've had the opportunity to grow several teams in both the support and professional services organisations. I really feel like I've had more than one career here at NetApp. So we have a high performance culture. We've got that desire to win, but most importantly, everyone in the team is dedicated to our customers and to their success, everyone. And it's been a wild ride. I'm super excited to see what we're gonna do next.
From purpose-driven leadership to people-first values, NetApp culture has shaped 25 years of innovation, resilience, and impact across Australia and New Zealand.
