My name is Reinoud Reynders I’m a IT manager infrastructure and operations of the university hospitals in Leuven, Belgium. That means everything that happens with the data center but also managing the decentralized IT like PCs, laptops, security, telephone and this kind of stuff. Very important for our company, we are a hospital, so it’s treating patients. Be sure that our patients get the right treatment at the right moment. That our nurses and physicians, they have all the data available, at the right moment, so that we can make the right decision there. And also sharing data. Sharing data with the patient, with all the physicians that helps in the treatment of the patient. So we work already 23 years with NetApp as a customer. We start very small with some small projects, but after a while we use the NetApp storage for all our needs and for everything what we need storage for. And the reason why we use NetApp is the simplicity of the whole NetApp system and the one solution that fits for all our storage needs in the hospital. From archiving to the high performance computing, for radiology images or for databases. It's all the same system and we can use it for all our needs. The biggest challenge of a hospital in general and definitely of our hospitals is the ability of the systems. We work completely electronically. So, when the IT systems doesn't work. Yeah, the hospitals stops working. And so we must invest a lot to make sure that the availability of the systems are always as high as possible and always available for nurses and physicians. In health care cost is crucial. And a lot of businesses have within health care definitely because every dollar or euro that you spent to stupid IT systems you can't spend to the patient. So wereally focus on cost saving, on total cost of ownership and so NetApp helps there very much because if we can just store data are less expensive deducting do smart backup things that is very important to reduce the cost because then we can save more patients.
