(electronic shuffling) (energetic music) Hi, I'm Phoebe Goh from NetApp and I am joined today by Shon Harris from Spot. Shon welcome! Hey, thank you so much for having me. I appreciate the opportunity. What do you do, Shon, at Spot? So, I am the Developer Relations Manager for the Spot product line. I work directly with the hyperscalers to make sure that we are aligned with their values, helping customers with a smooth onboarding experience for the Spot portfolio. Nice. And, communicating to the technical and the developer community about the Spot product line and how it can benefit them. And that's what's really interesting to me, is like, how do we communicate the value of Spot to our community out there? Well, I think like you hear what Spot can do, but you don't see it in action. And we make it really easy to see it in action, with quantifiable data that makes it easy for you to go back to your management and say, this is why we need to optimize. Yeah. And optimization is so important for customers right now. Right now, yeah. Because optimization's not just purely around cost savings. It's also about getting the most out of what you're spending in the Cloud. Right. As we run into economic uncertainty and we see companies laying off five, 10, 20 percent of their workforce, they're not gonna have five, 10, 20 percent less workloads. Their workloads stay the same and they have to do more. And we have studies and research that shows how the Spot product line can give you 20% of your time back to your DevOps people, so that they can do what they do best, instead of managing the actual infrastructure. Right. And that's what we really care about is, you know, the DevOps people, to me, who are trying to manage these workloads. There's so many of them, they're always changing. And something like Spot really helps with- helps them with that, and makes their lives easier. Right. And it lets them focus on what they can do better to make it so that their applications are not only running at peak performance, but at the stability that they require And cost optimize, it's- Cost optimize, yeah.
