BlueXP is now NetApp Console
Monitor and run hybrid cloud data services
- I think the number one challenge I see most customers expressing today is cost. You know, in the economy right now, it's not a surprise flexibility and complexity thatmix of, I want to go to the cloud but getting there is a journey and it's still something that challenges and frustrates customers. The strength of the Cisco-NetApp partnership is embodied in FlexPod. It enables my customers to adopt what I think is the new design center for the enterprise, which is hybrid cloud. Regardless of the study or the survey, about three quarters of customers are in, or will be in a hybrid cloud model as a preferred deployment model with only about one quarter of customers being truly cloud native. But being able to balance across on-prem and off-prem workload management, observability, simplified operations, every cloud adds another layer of complexity and a different stack, a different skillset. FlexPod and what NetApp and Cisco have built for more than a decade now standardizes and simplifies that equation so that you have to learn one thing once, you do one thing once, you deploy it repeatedly and you gain the benefit of that.
Gain insight into why the strength of Cisco-NetApp partnership is embodied in the strength of FlexPod XCS. John Woodall, Vice President and Field CTO, GDT, discusses the top customer challenge of cost and how FlexPod can enable hybrid cloud adoption.
