[music] Hello everybody. I'm Christian K, the partner leader for Amir and Latam over here at NetApp. Today I'm here at VMware Explore in Barcelona and I have the pleasure to host Nigel Hton who's the alliances lead for VH over here in AMIA. So welcome Nigel. It's great to have you here today and uh you know I'm surrounded by so much opportunity. We've just had a walk around the floor together and it's immense opportunity ahead of us. We've got so much ahead of us right from speaking to the customers and partners. You know whatdo you think about the partnership with NetApp? You know whatreally springs to mind about the solid base and foundation that we've built as well as the opportunity ahead of us? >> Yeah, I think it's well it's great to be here. So thanks very much for the invitation and uh say I'm also enjoying this today on the first day thereare thousands of people here and uh it's reallybusy everywhere but from our partnership and why our stands are close together um here is because our common customer base and our technology integration delivers a huge amount of value to our customers and we've got loads and loads of joint customers where we're providing additional value from that technology integration to allow them to do great things like making sure that your data is protected, it's always available and it's always recoverable. >> Yeah. Andyou know, we're continuingly to innovate, right? Both organizations, you know, I've had multiple customer meetings here just on the first day of VMware Explore, you know, and there's three things that come out from those customer conversations. One is, you know, how can we help them get to the cloud quicker? M >> the second one is how can they control cost and optimize cost in the public cloud and the third one is about how they can secure and protect and manage those digital assets. So clearly right if you look at the third point both our organizations play a huge role in supporting customers on that specific point right and that creates a huge opportunity for our partners right we're both partner centric partner friendly partner first organizations right sowhat sort of opportunitydo you think that creates for our partners >> wellvery much echo what you say about the multicloud piece and I think as two companies what we do very well is deliver a consistent experience regardless of where the workloads and where the datas are sitting. So,that's really key and that's something that partners find really easy to take to their customers and be able to demonstrate and show the value from a partner centric perspective. Again, I couldn't iterate more. We've got probably two of the strongest partner programs out there in the market and where we have our common partners and we goto market together. I'm just seeing goodness all over the place. It's all about unlocking the best for our customers across any cloud environment. So Nigel, it was great to have you today. Enjoy the rest of the show and thank you. And don't forget viewers, make sure you tune back in for more NetApp TV. >> Thanks for watching NetApp's TV coverage of BMW Exploring in Barcelona.
