BlueXP is now NetApp Console
Monitor and run hybrid cloud data services
Welcome back. This is part three of Blue XP backup and recovery service for Oracle on Azure NetApp files. In the previous demo, we talked about protecting Oracle database via a custom policy. Now let's try the restoration of this Oracle database. So before that, let's go to the host and see the current status of the database. It's in readr and open state. Also, the size of the data is around 1 TBTE. So, let's come back to Blue XP. Click on the restore. So, here you can select from the restore point that you want to restore. Just note that the restore will always happen to the same original location. For this demo purpose, I will click on the oldest uh restore point that is available here and I'll click on next. So under restore scope by default all data files will be restored. You can also restore control files only. And under recovery scope I'm using the default option that is all logs and I'm clicking on the open database in readrite mode after the recovery. Click on next. Review the information and say restore. So this restore job has been initiated. Click on the job and you will see the details here. The job has been triggered and what are the steps that we are performing as part of it.Here you see the job has been successful. Now let's go to the host and verify that. Let's see if the database is up and running. Now so here you can see that database is in readr mode and it is open state. Let's also verify the size of the database. As you can see the database size is same around 1 TBTE. That's it from my side. Thank you so much. If you need anything do reach out to us at ng backupapps@netapp.com. Thank you.
