[music] In this tech clip, we will observe how we can do a volume level and file level restore using cloud backup service. Cloud backup restore can be done in three simple steps. Step number one, select the source working environment, the source volume, and the snapshot to restore from. Step number two, select the destination working environment and the destination volume to restore tool. And step number three, you're all done. Cloud backup service executes volume level and file level restores to the destination that you have chosen. Now let's look at a quick demo on how volume level restores are done. Now let's go to cloud manager. Click on canvas. Click on the required working environment.As you can see the list of services will be shown on the right. Click on backup and restore and choose on backup list. We will go ahead and view what are the backups that we have in this particular working environment. You have two volumes that has been protected and the respective backups have been taken. Now let's go back to the cloud manager canvas page. Click on the required working environment and on the right you can see the services that are applicable. Let's click on the backup and restore service and click on restore volume. Clicking on restore volume will take you to the restore page. Now choose the appropriate source volume from which you would like to restore. After choosing the volume, choose the appropriate snapshot from which you would like to restore. Click on continue. Now let's go ahead and choose the destination to which we would like to restore. For that choose the appropriate working environment. Now let's go ahead and give in the details of the new volume to which it will be restored to. Now let's go ahead and click on restore. As you can see the restore process is in progress.Once the restore is completed, you can see the status as completed successfully.The volume restore has been completed. Let's go ahead and see the volume list in the working environment. As you can see, there is a new volume created by the restore process. In the next demo, let's go ahead and look how file level restores are being done. Let's go to the cloud manager canvas page. Select the working environment of your choiceand you can see the services associated with the particular working environment on the right side. Let's go ahead and click on restore single files. Clicking on restore single files will bring us to the list of volumes under the working environment. Now choose the source volume from which you would like to restore your files. Choose the appropriate snapshots and click on continue. Now we need to go ahead and select the files for restoring. This process could take about 5 minutes. It would go ahead and start off the cloud restore instance and get the list of files and folders from this volume snapshot that you have chosen.Now cloud backup service has retrieved all the files and folders for us to choose from to start the restore process. Go ahead and choose the files that you would like to restore and click on continue. Now let's go ahead and select the destination to which we would like to restore. Select the appropriate working environment. Now it will show you all the volumes pertaining to that particular working environment. Click on a volume that you would like to restore to and select the appropriate folder and click on restore. Now the restore process will initiate and make sure that the files are restored to the destination that you have specified. As you can see the restore process is in progress. As you can see the restore process is completed.
