Hi, I'm Dan Holme. I'm the AI solutions leader for NetApp for our US public sector and globals. Um I'm here on one of the hottest campuses in the United States when it comes to um looking at accelerating their current workloads using AI and ML. Um we're here at Witchah State today and it's been an exciting day already with our partners both Sirius and Nvidia. I've got Will Vic with me here [music] from Nvidia. And Will, thanks for joining. >> Thanks, Dan. So, Will, it's been, you know, it's been just about a half day. Um, we've seen a lot, but I'm wondering if you could talk a little bit about kind of what you've seen in a short amount of time andwhat you're most excited about. >> Yeah, absolutely. I think just being here for the first couple of hours being able to see the labs uh the joint partnerships with industry leaders as far as you know aircraft as well as you know government related task that there's a lot of application here you know within artificial intelligence in ways thatcould be accelerated from a predictive maintenance to creating these practical use cases with systems that exist today from a manufacturing standpoint. point that can be augmented with AI. Um that's where we see a lot of the traction and at what this campus is doing it right because not only are they getting um the investment from the engineering teams within you know engineering professors but investment from the outside influence to ensure that these students literally have a job as soon as they get out of college. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Aswe both know, right? we're going to have some missteps and not be able to get to that point of finding a job sometimes. And being able to have something like this where you'reaided through the process whether it's computer aided engineering or you know augmenting that with artificial intelligence you know this is a great way to really accelerate these workloads and better efficiencies uh for you know the enterprise globally. Yeah, I mean I think the investment that's been made here, NetApp has already invested. I know Nvidia's is um working with a couple of the different labs on campus, but you know, hearing Tanya Witherspoon tell us a little bit about what was going on here. um I couldn't believe it and seeing it is believing it in terms of what they're doing not only from the investment of those outside alliances with private andpublic sector entities but then thatcommitment to um this idea of that center of excellence of training the next generation oftechnology users and developers it'spretty cool so >> exactly and you know centers of excellence are key you know from the way Nvidia is driving the strategy um whether it's from a digital twin point of view we are able to recreate, you know, what's happening in the real world um to also being able to augment tasks today with artificial intelligence and creating these centers of excellence really [music] um are key for enterprises to note. The first part is really being able to take better advantage of the resources you have today. uh being able to create collaboration channels as well as education channels to one create a formal and centralized process of how an enterprise can actually execute artificial intelligence and whatever that may mean at that time and place in time. So [music] you know we really try to help customers create visions. WSU is helping create a vision for their community as well as their students and as well their you know public and private uh partners today.>> Yeah. Well, thanks Will. It's been a really exciting day. We've had a lot just in the last, you know, first half of this day and we're looking forward to the ongoing conversations. We got a big day tomorrow. Um, and this is the first of many campus visits here at Witchah State. We are actually going to be spending a little bit more time tomorrow afternoon viewing some other labs. If you guys are interested in hearing more about what's going on here, the investment that NetApp has already made on this campus, um, please reach out to the team and I appreciate you joining me, Will. Yeah, thanks Dan.
