(upbeat music) Welcome back to AWS re:Invent. I'm Phoebe Goh from NetApp, and I am joined today by Ritam Das. Ritam, welcome. What do you do and how are you enjoying re:Invent? Yeah, so re:Invent's been fun. What do I do? So I'm a Pre-Sales Engineer here at Instaclustr which is now part of Spot by NetApp. So yeah, thank you for having me. Yeah. So Instaclustr is a really, neat product. It's a way of kind of running open source databases. So tell me, what are some of the things that you're seeing with open source database? What are the challenges that people have? Yeah, a lot of challenges really are regarding support. It is an open source solution, nobody's on the hook to support this. You're typically on Stack Overflow looking for the most upvoted answer. So really what we're doing is we're providing a white glove service for those who don't have the expertise in these open source technologies. Yeah, and definitely as you grow, and we hope that everybody is really successful with open source. As you grow, there's other challenges, right? What might they be? Right, so if you're a little startup you might be looking at scaling as an upcoming issue, that's something we can easily do on our platform. You know, customer initiated resizes, vertically scaling, horizontally scaling, we can do it all. Oh, that's so awesome. I'm really excited. What are you really enjoying about AWS re:Invent? All the free swag I'm getting, really cool t-shirts out here, I love that stuff. But also, honestly, talking to people who are interested in what we do. It's fun. Yeah, I'm hearing a lot of buzz around open source databases. It's great to have you here, thank you so much for joining me. Yeah, no problem.
