Monitor and run hybrid cloud data services
[music] I'm going to state the obvious here. We all know new data is being created at an incredible rate. Here at NetApp, our job is to ensure your data is secure and accessible while giving you a premier storage ownership experience. We've been in this business for a while, so we know the ins and outs and we're continuing to bring innovative products to market to meet your needs. We understand your IT infrastructures are dynamic environments and IT transformations are more of an iterative process than a oneanddone activity. And so you're going through these transformations and changes while at the same time there are two fundamental shifts occurring which are changing the way you're looking at your business. First, budgets are tightening. Dollars are scarce. That means you're looking for best-in-class cost effective solutions. And secondly, sustainability is a strategic imperative. People care about the earth and it is receiving much more attention in the forge room. The all flash NetApp C series is here. It is our capacity flash system positioned right in between the A series and Faz lines and it's going to give you just the right amount of flash performance at an incredible price point. These systems are scalable, sustainable, and secure. So, let me touch on that scalable aspect first. The C series is based on QLC media making them a high density storage option. So think footprint consolidation. They can reduce up to 95% of rack space compared to SAS HDDs. You can expand clusters up to 24 nodes mixing a series, Cer and Faz systems all in the same cluster. Now on to the sustainability. With all of that rack space freed up, think about the power savings. These systems can reduce power and cooling cost by up to 85% compared to hybrid flash. Lastly, these systems are secure. Multifactor authentication and arbback, multi-admin verification before execution of sensitive commands, and don't forget autonomous ransomware protection. I just touched on the surface of these systems, but next session I'm bringing on technical product manager Chris Luth, and he's going to dive deeper into sustainability with the C series. So stay tuned to NetApp TV, and in the meantime, be sure to check out our website to learn more about the NetApp CE line. We'll talk soon.
Explore the C-Series arrays with Jamie Wheeler, who provides an overview of these capacity-optimized, all-flash systems and their pillars of sustainability, scalability, and security.
