Google Cloud NetApp Volumes now supports integrated backups of large capacity volumes for Premium and Extreme service levels. With this enhancement, organizations can take advantage of features like cross-region backup and immutable backups with minimum retention periods—empowering them to safeguard your data with even greater flexibility.
Prior to the introduction of this feature, organizations with large capacity volumes used cross-region replication or third-party tools to protect their data, which increased cost and operational complexity.
With integrated backup support for large volumes, organizations can now restore data to other high-capacity storage, ensuring full protection beyond primary systems. This update allows for long-term retention and compliance without extra costs or complexity.
