Empowering employees to care for our communities
At NetApp, one of our core values is to care for each other and our communities. NetApp Cares initiatives empower employees to give back, whether they choose to volunteer, donate, or simply spread the word. Our programs include matching gifts, Volunteer Time Off, and opportunities to earn grants tied to individual and team volunteering and board service. We also join together for two annual, company-wide signature programs: our global volunteer awards and Global Giving Challenge.
At NetApp, we support volunteering through up to five days of Volunteer Time Off (VTO) for each employee and Volunteer Grants that enable employees to earn funds for each hour they volunteer. Our Teambuilding Volunteer Grants and Board Volunteer Grants provide added ways to volunteer and earn NetApp grants to benefit the nonprofits that employees support. Recognizing the contributions of our colleagues is an important part of our culture, and our annual volunteer awards honor outstanding employee volunteers.
When employees donate to an eligible nonprofit, NetApp matches that donation through our Matching Gifts program. Employees can also earn funds for nonprofits through our suite of Volunteer Grants. In our annual Global Giving Challenge, NetApp provides each employee with a microgrant to donate to causes matter most to them, seeding employee philanthropy.
In our annual ESG report, NetApp showcases how we leverage data/AI for good and uphold our core value to positively impact individuals and communities, fostering a more equitable and sustainable future for all. This includes a yearly update on our Social Impact initiatives.
