BlueXP is now NetApp Console
Monitor and run hybrid cloud data services
Hello and welcome back to episode two of the Microsoft Minute. I'm again joined by Chibuzo.we talked a little bit about last episode, just about the basis of the partnership where we see it going. Let's uncover a little bit more. Can we talk a little bit about ANF Azure NetApp files. It's really exciting. It's a first party product. Talk to me about that and also about the CloudOps innovations as well that we've developed forcustomers jointly. Thanks for asking. As I mentioned earlier, Microsoft and NetApp teamed up to create cloud storage solutions, Azure NetApp Files. Think of Azure NetApp files as built on NetApp's technology woven to the fabric of our data centers, collocated to compute and storage and it provides very low latency, high performance storage capabilities for our customers and it helps power mission critical workloads. We're seeing huge successes with SAP workloads, increasingly with AVS, we're seeing some with HPC. So we're going after data centric opportunities and that's really where ANF shines. And you also mentioned cloud value ONTAP and CloudOps. Those are also NetApp solutions that our partner that wesell through our partnership. Something to consider is that NetApp has about 10 marketplace transactible solutions. The CVO and Clouds portfolio are part of the marketplace transactable solutions and they offer an opportunity for our sellers and your sellers to team up and land these solutions in our customer base, sell NetApp, helps sell NetApp solutions and also drive ACR for our customers and solve their data problems as well. I love it. There's a huge foundation then of different solutions customers can take advantage of for like you said, their mission critical workloads. I loved that and we're really helping out customers jointly and helping them with their stories, their data and their future growth of their own company right. Now, besides the innovation there, I think we also have quite an incredible backing from an executive perspective both at Microsoft and at NetApp with George, with Satya, with Cesar Cernuda and talk to me a little bit about that, what does that mean to have the backing of these top executives behind this solution as well. You know Microsoft and NetApp are like in many respects we are customer obsessed and we have a unique value proposition when we come together for our customers. And it's wonderful to have the support of our CEO Satya and yours is George Kurian and Cesar Cernuda as president. In addition, Scott Godfrey and Heidi Galois have been wonderful executive sponsors for the partnership as well and that has driven very tight alignment in terms of how we work together, how we co-sell together and how we co-innovate. And we have very strong alignment with our field teams and our specialist team units to work together on our solution plays and solution areas where we can land NetApp solutions in our mutual customers. Thank you. It sounds like a very happy and solid relationship and also solution. So thank you for joining us on the second Microsoft Minute and join us for the third one as we wrap it up here on this third episode series. Take care.
