What is diverse supplier?
Embracing diversity for innovation and inclusion
A diverse supplier is a business with 51% ownership and operation by a traditionally underrepresented group including women, minorities, veterans, service disabled, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities.
Supplier registration portal
Diverse suppliers can easily register through the NetApp registration portal where we will match you with potential opportunities at NetApp. Your company's information will be added to the NetApp Database and will be accessible to the procurement teams.
Please note this does not guarantee the award of a NetApp contract or a preferred supplier status.
Get certified
NetApp actively seeks qualified and certified diverse businesses to be a part of our supply chain.
NetApp encourages all diverse suppliers to obtain a third-party certification from certifying organizations such as WBENC, NMSDC, NGLCC or certification from city, state, or federal agencies to qualify for our procurement process.
Tier 2 Spend Reporting
NetApp believes prime suppliers (suppliers who sell directly to NetApp) also play a critical role in supplier diversity initiative. We aim to increase the positive impact of supplier diversity by encouraging our suppliers to also do business with diverse businesses.
We track the diverse spend of our suppliers and this is called as Tier 2 reporting.
Tier 2 represents diverse supplier spend through suppliers of NetApp.
We have a reporting platform through which our suppliers can report their diverse spend to NetApp.
