Matt Lawson is the Director of Solution Engineering for NetApp Federal, where he leads and works with engineering and sales teams supporting the US Federal Government, including Civilian Agencies, the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and Federal System Integrators. His specialties include technical sales leadership, Enterprise AI, IT management and leadership, IT strategy, cloud infrastructure, cyber resiliency, and green data center initiatives. Prior to joining NetApp, Matt spent two decades in Education and the U.S. Public Sector, serving as Chief Technology Officer for a large state college system and later as Vice President for Information Technology at a Virginia college. Matt is a proud father of eight and makes his home in Richmond, Virginia.

Tony Abate is the Systems Services Manager with Nlets, the International Justice & Public Safety Network, where he has worked with government agencies and private sector partners at the local, state, national, and international level to ensure a stable and high-performant system for criminal justice information sharing. Tony has also led the creation and management of Nova, the Nlets Secure Cloud Platform, to provide cloud services to government and private sector partners as the only cloud provider audited by the FBI’s CJIS Policy Division. With Nlets and Nova, Tony is leveraging infrastructure and development experience with a focus on security, compliance, and the secure data lifecycle through confidentiality, integrity, availability, authorization, and management to provide secure services and platforms that benefit the criminal justice community.

Jennifer completed a Business Management degree with an emphasis on mathematics and computer science while working full time. Jennifer worked for Aramark during college and later joined Hillyard Chemical Company. After transitioning to a true IT job, she had more time to explore life and frequently visited family in El Paso, where she eventually settled down permanently in March 2000. She worked for the City of El Paso for 11 years before joining the 911 District, where she has been for the past 13 years. Jennifer has the privilege of running the district’s technology endeavors, which include NetApp, PaloAlto, VMWare, VEEAM, Cisco, Brocade, Aerohive, and SolarWinds.  Jennifer enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and whitewater rafting.  She has run the Grand Canyon's Colorado River 7 times so far!  On one of those trips, she married her husband and had the greatest honeymoon EVER! Jennifer counts herself blessed at both home and work.
