While most cyber resilience solutions from other storage vendors prioritize backup at the storage layer, NetApp integrates this advanced detection capability across file, block, and cloud-native environments like Amazon FSx for ONTAP. Available later this year, for block workloads NetApp ARP/AI will analyze entropy at the virtual machine level to detect encryption.
