Google Cloud NetApp Volumes, a fully managed file storage service in Google Cloud that provides high-performance, enterprise-grade file storage, announces automated provisioning and management of NetApp Volumes resources using the popular Terraform ecosystem. This integration enables storage network configuration and storage provisioning automation using infrastructure as code tooling to make it easier for customers to track and automate infrastructure changes and standardize configurations.
The Terraform integration lets customers automate storage network configuration within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), define standardized storage pools for consumption, and automates volume provisioning. This integration removes the need for manual configuration through the Google Cloud console and allows programmatic configuration of infrastructure making it easier to support CI/CD pipelines.
