  1. For entities that are based in Russia or Belarus and own assets outside of Russia or Belarus, can NetApp provide support on those assets (located outside of Russia or Belarus)?  
    NetApp is obligated to comply with United States and European Union sanctions measures imposed on Russia and Belarus. NetApp is currently reviewing those customers, entities, and partners with ties to Russia and Belarus to determine whether an export license may be obtained for transactions outside of Russia or Belarus. NetApp will work with the relevant trade authorities to obtain approval for transactions, where applicable. Until such time as an export license is received or the sanctions are lifted, NetApp may not transact with customers who are sanctioned or in the sanctioned areas. At this time, NetApp can not commit to an estimated time to receive any export license.

  2. How do these sanctions effect the entitlements of assets in Russia or Belarus which are owned by a multi-national company (based outside of Russia or Belarus)?
    NetApp is obligated to comply with United States and European Union sanctions measures imposed on Russia and Belarus. Accordingly, NetApp has suspended service and support to assets in Belarus and Russia. NetApp is currently reviewing those customers, entities, and partners who are based outside of Russia and Belarus to determine whether an export license may be obtained for transactions in Russia or Belarus. NetApp will work with the relevant trade authorities to obtain approval for transactions, where applicable. Until such time as an export license is received or the sanctions are lifted, NetApp may not transact with customers who are sanctioned or in the sanctioned areas. At this time, NetApp can not commit to an estimated time to receive any export license.

  3. In the case of a multi-national company with assets in multiple countries, will NetApp continue to support assets located outside of Russia or Belarus?
    A multi-national company, not impacted by sanctions or related restrictions may still receive support on entitled assets located outside of Russia and Belarus. Additionally, employees not impacted by sanctions or related measures may continue to have access to NetApp Support Site so long as their support agreements are paid and active.
