We're thrilled to be returning in person to Red Hat Summit, May 23-25, in Boston. A lot has happened since the last time we were all together, but our alliance partnership with Red Hat is stronger than ever.

Over the last few years, we’ve seen more and more NetApp® customers adopting containerized workload environments and microservices that need persistent data management. Our teams have been busy collaborating to build solutions that help customers advance their modern workloads on Red Hat OpenShift with the enterprise-class performance, data protection, efficiency, and simplified management that customers have come to appreciate from NetApp.

Join us at Red Hat Summit this month to see how NetApp delivers enterprise data management where OpenShift wants it—on premises or in the cloud. Visit our booth or, even better, schedule a 1:1 meeting with our experts. Here’s a look at what we have planned.

First stop: Booth 471

Whether you’re running OpenShift on premises or in the cloud, managing OpenShift workloads yourself, or using managed Red Hat OpenShift environments in a hyperscaler (such as Red Hat OpenShift on AWS with Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP), NetApp has solutions for your stateful data needs.

Be sure to stop by Booth 471, where we will be sharing how you can:

  • Centrally manage, provision, and scale your Kubernetes workloads—wherever they live
  • Accelerate and simplify DevOps for new, modern applications alongside traditional workloads
  • Provide persistent and protected enterprise-class data management for Kubernetes containers and virtual machines

In our booth, we’ll also have hands-on demos to show you how NetApp and Red Hat OpenShift deliver your secure container data wherever you want it. Featured demos include the following.

  • Hybrid multicloud with OpenShift
See how NetApp’s single data management plane and unified data services across a hybrid cloud environment enable you to put your Kubernetes workloads wherever it makes the most sense for your business, on your premises or in the cloud. Solutions like Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management make it easier to handle large-scale OpenShift environments with persistent storage needs across your entire landscape, so that your container data will be secure and available whenever and wherever you need it.
  • Stateful data for OpenShift workloads with NetApp Astra
See first-hand how to use the NetApp container storage interface in Astra™ Trident to support stateful data needs for OpenShift workloads. You'll also learn how you can use NetApp storage with Astra Control to simplify stateful OpenShift data management, avoid data loss, and automate day-2 operations.
  • Persistent storage for Red Hat ROSA Red Hat ROSA is a managed OpenShift integration on AWS developed by Red Hat and jointly supported by AWS and Red Hat. ROSA clusters typically store data on locally attached Amazon EBS or EFS volumes. However, many customers need the underlying data to be persistent and shared across multiple containers and across multiple availability zones.

FSx for ONTAP solves this problem by providing persistent storage for Red Hat ROSA. FSx for ONTAP with ROSA is fully validated and supported by Amazon, Red Hat, and NetApp. Stop by to see how FSx for ONTAP offers popular ONTAP features like Snapshot™ copies, FlexClone® technology, cross-region replication with SnapMirror®, and a highly available file server with seamless failover.
  • Cloud Insights for Red Hat OpenShift / Simplify day-to-day OpenShift operations with NetApp Cloud Insights
Discover how Cloud Insights, our comprehensive observability platform for cloud-native, Kubernetes, on-premises, hybrid cloud, and multicloud environments, can help you simplify day-to-day operations for OpenShift. Cloud Insights significantly improves your ability to perform infrastructure and OpenShift monitoring, capacity planning, workload mapping, and change analysis.

  • Red Hat OpenShift on FlexPod / Simplify container deployment and management on premises with FlexPod
For more than a decade, Cisco and NetApp have partnered to deliver FlexPod®, an integrated architecture that incorporates compute, storage, and network design best practices to minimize IT risks. Now, our Red Hat OpenShift on FlexPod solution can simplify the deployment and management of on-premises container infrastructure. The joint solution provides a secure, sustainable, and scalable foundation to accommodate any business requirement. Built with flexibility in mind, FlexPod can extend to any cloud for backup, disaster recovery, and cloud bursting.

We’re looking forward to seeing you in Boston! Beat the crowd and schedule a meeting with one of our experts at a time that works for you. Until then, visit us on line to learn more about Red Hat OpenShift on NetApp.
