NetApp INSIGHT 2019 Las Vegas is coming up quickly—Monday, October 28 through Wednesday, October 30. NetApp just announced their agenda and short list of sessions. Go ahead and check them out here. The full list of sessions will be announced later in August—so be on the lookout. Now’s a great time to register for what’s sure to be another incredible event!
I have been at every NetApp INSIGHT conference over the last 18 years, including the “bat cave” Fall Classic events in Sunnyvale. This year, I’m especially looking forward to networking, seeing colleagues and friends, and learning from the great technically-focused sessions. Some of the topics I’m particularly excited about are AI, hybrid multicloud, DevOps, and open ecosystems.
My first stop between sessions will be the Hands-On Labs, which are amazing. You can learn anything you want on any NetApp product or partner ecosystem. Want to learn how to use NetApp HCI, StorageGRID, ONTAP, Cloud Volumes, or Cloud Insights? How about automation? Make sure to spend at least an hour in the Hands-On Labs. I actually plan on spending more than a few hours in the lab. The team does an amazing job with well-written step-by-step guidance, and there are proctors to help if you have any issues. Make sure to reserve your lab time in the schedule builder, but walk-ins are also usually available.
After the Hands-On Labs, I plan on heading off to the NetAppU Certification headquarters. Don’t miss your opportunity to take a free exam and get certified. There are several new certifications, including the NSO-402 Hybrid Cloud Implementation DevOps Engineer. You can sign up on Pearson VUE to reserve your spot, but you can also wait in the stand-by line if you decide to take a course spontaneously.
The Briefing Center is another highlight of NetApp INSIGHT that allows customers to meet executives and product managers. A lot of productive meetings are held on-site. If you’re planning on taking a customer to NetApp INSIGHT, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
The Gear Store and INSIGHT Central will have multiple “mandatory” stops to learn about new and updated products along with chances to pick up swag to take home. Remember to save some room in your luggage for shirts, cups, mugs, and other fun gadgets!
Another highlight is the Customer Appreciation Event. NetApp always knows how to end INSIGHT with a lot of fun. Stay tuned for what they have in store for this year!
See you at NetApp INSIGHT this October!
