The event took place at NetApp headquarters in Sunnyvale with more than 160 attendees!

For this inaugural summit, we included forty strategic suppliers that support us in making our products and running our business globally. Our goals for the event were to ensure that our top suppliers understand NetApp’s strategy and vision, our ability to execute, and the requirements to grow with NetApp, and that they feel a call to action to elevate their relationship with us and to start planning to win together.

Our Speakers

Tony Braga, NetApp VP of Global Procurement & Contract Manufacturing shared their vision for the event, stressing the need to foster executive-level relationships and accelerate the collaboration required to win together.

Satish Lakshmanan, VP of Corporate Strategy, discussed the transformation of the storage industry and how disruption creates opportunity for innovative and collaborative partners.

Brad Anderson, EVP & GM of NetApp’s Hybrid Cloud Group, shared our product strategy, competitive advantage, and how we will collaborate with technology partners to win.

Mike Capener, NetApp’s VP of IT, Infrastructure, Strategy & Data, presented and discussed industry IT procurement trends, NetApp’s view of IT infrastructure priorities, and how partners can participate and win in this new environment.

Bill Berg, NetApp’s SVP of Operations, spoke about what NetApp values in supplier relationships, and how flawless execution fosters mutual benefits, and then he hosted a NetApp executive panel discussion with questions from our supplier-partners.

We announced Recognition Awards for two of our superb supplier-partners and celebrated their creative and effective partnerships with NetApp. CEO, George Kurian closed the event by thanking our supplier guests and shared a rousing call to action on how we can win together in a data-driven world.
