From June 4 to 9, 2023, Cisco Live Las Vegas is one of Cisco’s most important customer and partner events of the year. Cisco Live will be hosted in the Mandalay Bay Conference Center, and the network management will be done by the Cisco Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The NOC provides the networking capability to the supplemental sites that are part of Cisco Live.
The NOC setup is a combination of Cisco and NetApp® ONTAP® components, starting with Cisco UCS, Nexus, and NetApp MetroCluster™ in a FlexPod® configuration. The Cisco NOC is by definition mission critical, because it runs all the virtual machines for the Cisco network that runs Cisco Live.
The Cisco NOC is visible directly from the main exhibit hall during the event. Here’s a picture of the NOC from 2022, Cisco Live Las Vegas.
Cisco UCS is a perfect compute extension of a Cisco network. And, in turn, FlexPod—with its ONTAP storage arrays—is an outstanding storage extension for UCS and your Cisco network, because it’s thoroughly tested against multiple versions of all major modern and enterprise workloads from the edge to the core to the cloud. Thousands of customers around the world trust the inherent reliability of a Cisco network with FlexPod.
FlexPod is not only the NOC provider for the Las Vegas conference—it was also the NOC provider for Cisco Live EMEA 2023. In addition, FlexPod has been the NOC provider for the last 10 in-person Cisco Live conferences and will power the next couple Cisco Lives. Cisco trusts FlexPod for its most important events over the last decade, and so should you.
