John Yu is a Senior Storage Administrator at Boston University, Information Services & Technology where he manages central storage and data protection technologies for the University. He has well over 25 years of experience in the field. Not only is John employed by BU, but he also has a BA in Computer Science from the University.
Dan is a Consulting Solutions Architect for NetApp with over 25 years of experience in virtualization, network, and storage technologies. In addition to running and managing his own data centers over the years, he also several years of experience with NetApp partners before coming to NetApp in 2016. Dan lives in Indianapolis with his wife and two children, and enjoys triathlons, cycling, camping, woodworking, and volunteering with his church.
Kenneth Gottleib, Sr. Technical Architect\n\nKen Gottleib is a Sr. Technical Architect with Boston University’s IS&T organization, the centralized IT group that provides common services to all of Boston University’s numerous colleges. Part of Ken’s role includes serving as the VMware subject matter expert. His first experiences with technology began as a sales consultant selling IT solutions in 1989 to small businesses, schools, and municipalities. Ken has obtained a multitude of industry certifications including an MCSE from Microsoft and 5 VCPs from VMware. Over the past 20 years he has been a lead virtualization resource for numerous enterprise organizations, Universities, VMware authorized consulting and alliance partners, and VMware Architect at VCE. Prior to his career in enterprise IT Ken served in the United States Marines and was the founder of one of the first internet cafés in Massachusetts in 1997. Hobbies include hiking, camping, and jamming guitar. \n
