Niyaz Mohamed (aka NiMo) is a Principal Solutions Engineer on the Alliance & Solution Development team at NetApp, bringing over 18 years of experience in the IT industry. Since joining NetApp in 2011 from Microsoft, Niyaz has been at the forefront of driving hybrid and cloud solution strategies across key domains including Databases, Virtualization, AI/ML, Kubernetes, Security and Data Management (Backup, Restore and DR).\n\nHe also plays a pivotal role in shaping product design, strategy and customer experience for NetApp’s cloud portfolio. Niyaz is a passionate evangelist for technologies such as the Shift toolkit, Azure NetApp Files, Amazon FSx for ONTAP, Cloud Volumes ONTAP, Cloud Insights, Trident, and more—helping customers unlock the full potential of their data across hybrid and multicloud environments.
