Allowlisted Preview of Large Volume performance enhancements

Google Cloud NetApp Volumes (GCNV) now supports a private preview of Large Volumes with up to 44 GiB/s of sequential read throughout and 1.5 million of random read IOPS. This performance enhancement is achieved through a configuration change that allows all nodes in a Flex Unified cluster to be deployed in an active/active mode. With this each each node contributes to the performance of the pool as opposed to being on standby for failover events.

Active/Active deployment is enabled by the technology enhancements in the Flex Unified stack. In addition, this configuration also reduces the latencies for the client operations.

The allowlisted Preview is available in all regions Flex Unified is available today.
