Our customers’ needs are constantly evolving, and we at NetApp are committed to the continuing development of our partner ecosystem to enable our customers to meet their goals.

Digital transformation plans are accelerating

If it wasn’t already evident, the past year has forcefully demonstrated that time stands still for no one, and adaptation is crucial to achieving growth objectives. Change is the order of the day, and digital transformation has risen to the top of strategic imperatives for CEOs around the globe.

Gartner predicts that businesses will be forced to accelerate their digital transformation plans by at least 5 years between now and 2024, just to survive in a post-COVID-19 world. Gartner further forecasts that global IT spending will increase by 6.2% in 2021, to $3.9 trillion.[1]

Transforming ourselves

NetApp is transforming alongside its customers and partners, building on our impeccable credentials in the storage industry, decades of experience, and thousands of customer and partner relationships based on deep trust. But customers are operating in an increasingly competitive global environment that demands the flexibility to scale beyond their current data centers while maintaining top performance, security, and reliability. They need more from us, and we are rising to the challenge to become an innovative cloud-led, data-centric software company to serve those needs—with our partners right there with us on the front line.

“In the long history of humankind (and animal kind, too), those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed.” – Charles Darwin

Our long-standing customers are turning to our team more than ever, trusting in the quality, capabilities, and functionality we’ve always brought to their businesses, as they look to harness the innovations of the cloud.

There is also a new generation of customers who are reaching out to us through our partners for help in the cloud. Increased pressure for performance, security, and reliability means that these customers need the technology solutions and quality of service that NetApp delivers.

Our partners are responding with speed and collaborating with us on diverse services to satisfy these evolving customer needs.

Performance, reliability, and security, wherever your data resides

The heart and core of NetApp has always been that of resiliency, security, and performance on every platform. Now our partners have even more options to offer. They can help customers evaluate where their data should reside—on premises, in the public cloud, in a hybrid cloud environment, or an evolving combination. They can also maintain the continuity and efficiencies of the common NetApp® ecosystem, which provides robust enterprise functionality across all platforms.

We continually interact with our customers and partners to better understand their needs and to make sure that they are using their data most effectively. With NetApp Active IQ®, we have a giant data lake on which we constantly draw for trends. When we spot a potential opportunity to seize or an issue to avoid, we reach out through our partner community to alert customers, helping everyone succeed. We’ve also developed a suite of as-a-service tools that help customers analyze their data, wherever it resides, to discover opportunities for efficiency, avoid potential problems, and maximize investments. NetApp and our partners do more than help customers choose the best solution; we collaborate to optimize those solutions over time.

Growing with trusted partners

In times of turmoil, like the past year, organizations seek the peace of mind gained by working with a trusted partner.

Listening to the needs of both customers and partners, NetApp is transforming to meet those needs. We are simplifying our offerings, expanding our capabilities in the cloud, and driving demand through effective partner marketing campaigns aligned to the biggest growth opportunities.

By assisting our partners to differentiate themselves in the marketplace with imaginative campaigns, we help them drive more leads and close more deals. These campaigns cover a comprehensive range of tools, including engaging presentations, high-value interactive assets, and kits to assist with marketing, events, telemarketing, and social media.
