This video will demonstrate accessing the API documentation and using the API and NetApp Blue XP's digital advisor service. To get to the API documentation, click on API catalog on the left menu. APIs are a great way to get information from the digital advisor service programmatically.When you first go to the API catalog, you'll need to sign up. This will allow us to document how you plan to use the API. In this case, I've already signed up. The next step is to generate tokens. You'll receive an access token to use in the API calls and a refresh token that can be used to generate new tokens. You can view the API catalog by clicking browse then clicking on active IQ public. These are the APIs. They are simple REST APIs. Each one is documented and examples of input and output are given on the right side. Example languages include shell, PowerShell, NodeJS, PowerShell, NodeJS, PowerShell, NodeJS, Python, Java, and Go. You will be able to see any system you are authorized to see in the digital advisor guey. Output is usually in JSON format. Please note that each refresh token is currently valid for 7 days, but can be used programmatically to generate new tokens. However, every 90 days, you'll need to manually log in to get new tokens.
