Associate Professor Mark Cowley is Deputy Director of Enabling Platforms and Collaboration at the Children’s Cancer Institute. Renowned for his research in translational bioinformatics, he has made major advances in precision medicine, by developing genomics analysis tools for the diagnosis of patients with genetic diseases and cancer. Mark plays a key role in the Zero Childhood Cancer Program, Australia’s leading precision medicine program for all children and young people with cancer. Here, Mark will describe how the Children’s Cancer Institute are leveraging data to improve health outcomes in children, powered by NetApp technologies.
