Lead Storage Engineer, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), National Ignition Facility (NIF)

Highly skilled and experienced Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a deep commitment to advancing scientific research by ensuring that data, the lifeblood of scientific research, flows seamlessly within the unique Infra of the NIF.\n\nI play a pivotal role in ensuring that the facility's vast data needs are met seamlessly. My responsibilities encompass the design, deployment, and maintenance of the storage infra which includes configuring, managing, monitoring integrity and management. I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and IT specialists to develop solutions that not only meet the immediate needs of experiments but also scale to accommodate the ever-increasing demands of scientific data.\n\nWhen not working with data storage solutions, I can be found medling with smart home with two kids playing a mean game of hide-and-seek or working in the home garden. A proud father, and believes there’s no such thing as a dull moment.
