Advanced StorageGRID management through Grid Manager integration

And now, with the integration of Grid Manager, BlueXP provides advanced management capabilities for your NetApp StorageGRID^® infrastructure. 

This integration enables you to easily monitor StorageGRID capacity, performance, nodes, and alerts. You can view and control tenants, information lifecycle management (ILM), and system and security settings, all through one unified console.

Additional integrations include components of NetApp Harvest, Active IQ Unified Manager, and ONTAP^® Essentials into the BlueXP alerting service, which provides real-time alerts on ONTAP systems with prescriptive corrective actions.  

Simplify ONTAP upgrades with the new BlueXP software updates

As easy as it is to update ONTAP systems, a centralized method to update your entire fleet can save you serious time. We are proud to introduce BlueXP software updates, which uses artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps) to streamline ONTAP upgrades. 

This new service identifies clusters that are candidates for an upgrade and gives you a consolidated report with options, benefits, and recommendations. After you have chosen the best option for your needs, automatic hardware and software compatibility prechecks are performed to reduce risk and to prevent blockers. From there, ONTAP System Manager is launched, and the update is executed. By automating workflows and simplifying complex tasks, the BlueXP software updates service reduces upgrade complexity, minimizes risks, and saves time.
