During the movie awards season, awards like the Oscars recognize the best of the best in the movie industry, and we wanted to do the same for our amazing partners around the world.

We launched the NetApp Partner Marketing Category Awards this year to recognize the superstar work our partners have done to market how they work with NetApp to accelerate our customers’ digital transformation.

Digital transformation is what helps our customers stand out from the competition. Marketing helps drive that transformation by showing customers opportunities they didn’t know were possible. In today’s fast-paced environment, marketers need to stay agile to keep up. Our partners help make that happen.

Partners play a leading role in NetApp’s success

Agile marketing is all about meeting customers where they are, no matter how fast that changes. At NetApp, our partners provide our biggest window into what our customers need. That means NetApp partners play a leading role in sharing our message about how to lead with data.

The marketing landscape has changed dramatically in the past two years, and our partners have been at the forefront of those changes. The COVID-19 pandemic also created a whole new set of challenges, which has sparked incredible creativity and innovation. Like seasoned performers adapting to a new script, our partners have found new ways to connect with customers without missing a line.

We’re proud of what NetApp and our partners have accomplished together. Jointly, we are able to deliver game-changing customer experiences, on premises and in the cloud. And now we want to recognize that success.

Partner creativity takes top honors 

We were thrilled to see so many diverse and creative campaigns and programs in market over the past few months. Thanks to all partners who submitted their campaigns—you made it a tough decision for us!

Now, it is my pleasure to announce the three winners for driving the best partner marketing campaigns this year!

Drum roll please…

Bravo to Tech Data, our U.S. winner for its outstanding fully integrated multi-touch campaign that connected with customers in new ways, using creative elements like a virtual EDO, partner wine tasting webinars, and much more! The results absolutely exceeded our expectations, and it was great to see the team’s passion around the campaign.

Kudos to our European winner, Q Associates in the UK, for creating a holiday-themed campaign that resonated with customers. Its digital advent calendar brought a festive spirit to many people this year and initiated lots of great conversations with new buyers. The results were exceptional, and we loved the creativity around this program.

Congratulations to our APAC winner, Glocomp Systems in Malaysia, for driving a proactive campaign that has generated exceptional engagement and an incredibly promising pipeline. The results to date speak for themselves and I am excited to see the final results of this amazing campaign.

Last but not least, a big thank you to all our partners across the globe! Thank you for your relentless dedication and efforts that enable us to compete in the market together. It has been a successful year and I look forward to presenting next year’s awards in person.

Tricia Jennett is the senior director of Global Partner Marketing for NetApp. In this role, she is responsible for empowering, enabling and investing in partners and distributors to grow their business profitably with NetApp’s full portfolio of cloud data services and storage solutions. She leads a team of channel marketing professionals who consult, develop and drive joint go-to-market plans with strategic partners to increase their customer life-cycle and acquire new accounts. Tricia's experience in technology marketing spans 20 years, and includes roles in partner & alliance marketing, marketing communications and product development. Tricia’s passion is working with the channel community, understanding technology trends and customers, and translating the information into programs that affect channel growth for the business. Tricia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and international business from San Francisco State University.
