Gary Grider

Sr Director of Computing Technologies, Los Alamos National Laboratory

Gary Grider is the Senior Director for Computing Technologies at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Gary helps shape the direction of technologies to be used at the laboratory for all HPC and AI endeavors. Until recently, Gary was the longtime Leader of the High Performance Computing (HPC) Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Los Alamos’ HPC Division operates one of the largest governmental supercomputing centers in the world focused on US National Security for the US/DOE National Nuclear Security Administration. Gary is responsible for managing the R&D portfolio for keeping the new technology pipeline full to provide solutions to problems in the Lab’s HPC/AI environment, through collaboration with university and industry partners.

Gary has 30 granted patents in the data high performance data management area and has been working in HPC and HPC related storage since, 1984.

George Kurian

CEO, NetApp

George Kurian is CEO at NetApp and a member of the Board of Directors. George joined the company in 2011, bringing his passion and relentless focus on execution. He was named CEO in June 2015. In his previous role as NetApp executive vice president of Product Operations, George was responsible for the strategy and development of NetApp’s product and solutions portfolio. Before that, George was senior vice president of the Data ONTAP Group, overseeing development of the Data ONTAP operating system. George joined NetApp as senior vice president of the Storage Solutions Group, where he was responsible for the solutions portfolio and joint partner technology integration. Prior to joining NetApp, George was vice president and general manager of the Application Networking and Switching Technology Group at Cisco Systems. George’s diverse background also includes the role of vice president at Akamai Technologies, management consulting at McKinsey & Company, and leading software engineering and product management teams at Oracle Corporation. He is also an independent director on the Board of global health services company Cigna Corporation.

Syam Nair

Arindam Banerjee

Arindam é o primeiro Technical Fellow da NetApp. Ele também é o Chief Architect, VP of NetApp Platforms e lidera a visão, a estratégia e a arquitetura tecnológica da NetApp. Atualmente, ele está liderando a arquitetura e o design da próxima geração de infraestrutura de IA e plataformas de dados de IA. Arindam tem mais de 25 anos de experiência em infraestrutura de storage distribuído e plataformas de dados. Arindam é autor e coautor de mais de 50 patentes e publicações de patentes que receberam mais de 500 citações como referência na área de sistemas e tecnologia de dados computacionais.
