    NCSIE, ONTAP Requirements
    Candidates for the NetApp Certified Storage Installation Engineer, ONTAP certification should have at least 6 to 12 months of experience with NetApp® ONTAP® solutions, including setting up, configuring, installing, testing, and troubleshooting NetApp storage systems.

    It is recommended (but not required) that NCSIE candidates first achieve the NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) certification.

    Unless otherwise stated in the question, the version of ONTAP tested in this exam is ONTAP 9.1.

    This exam contains two sections. These sections incorporate an added level of security to ensure that individuals taking the certification exam are doing so fairly and are thereby fully qualified to receive their certification. If this security check is triggered during the exam, the exam will end after the section and you will receive a fail for this attempt.
