NetApp Certified SAN Implementation Engineer

NetApp Certified SAN Implementation Engineers have proven skills in understanding customer storage requirements, implementing Fibre Channel and iSCSI SAN solutions, and integrating different operating systems and applications such as Microsoft® Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server™, DB2®, and Oracle®.
NCIE-SAN Requirements
In order to achieve your NCIE certification, you must first complete the requirements for the NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), which requires that you pass any of the following:
- NetApp Certified 7-Mode Data Administrator (NS0-155) exam
- NetApp Certified Clustered Data ONTAP Administrator (NS0-156) exam
- NetApp Certified Data Administrator, Clustered Data ONTAP (NS0-157) exam (replaces NS0-156 in May 2015)
If you have already passed the NCIE exam, you must still also pass the NCDA before being granted the NCIE credential.
NCIE Logos and certificates will be granted to those individuals who successfully obtain NCDA certification and also pass any of the following:
- NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer – SAN, 7-Mode (NS0-502) exam
- NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer – SAN, Clustered Data ONTAP (NS0-504) exam
- NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer – SAN, Clustered Data ONTAP (NS0-506) exam (replaces NS0-504 in May 2015)
- NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer – SAN, E-Series (NS0-505) exam
