Step 1: Select a NetApp Certification Level

Certification Programs

  • NCDA – NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator Certification is designed for data management administrators and anyone who needs to perform in-depth support, administrative functions, and performance management of NetApp products and solutions
  • NCSA – NetApp Certified Solutions Architect Certification is designed for Pre-Sales Systems Engineers and anyone who is architecting a NetApp Solution
  • NCIE – NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer Certification is designed for Post-Sales PS Engineers and anyone who is implementing NetApp products and solutions

Accreditation Programs

  • ASAP – NetApp Accredited Storage Architect Professional is designed for novice NetApp presales technical partners, including systems engineers and storage architects
  • NASP – NetApp Accredited Sales Professional is designed for NetApp internal Sales Reps and NetApp Authorized Channel Partners only
  • SVAP – Server Virtualization Accredited Professional is designed for System Engineers, Resellers, Channel Partners and Customers

Step 2: Read the NetApp Certification Program Candidate Agreement

The NetApp Certification Program Candidate Agreement describes terms and conditions described for taking the NetApp certification exams. You will have to agree to it before you are allowed to take proctored NetApp exams at Prometric sites.

Step 3: Prepare for the Exams

To help you prepare for the certification exams, you can go to the NetApp University home page to register for courses designed by NetApp University. For further questions on the courses, please visit our support site: http://netappusupport.custhelp.com.

In order to prepare further, you should also review all of the technical manuals, papers, knowledge base articles, and any other hardware-relevant information about our products. Sources of this information can be found on our NOW™ support site at http://now.netapp.com and within our products section on this site.
