IBM N series and Global Technology Services

On October 27, 2009, IBM Global Technology Services (GTS) and NetApp announced a global alliance agreement to complement the existing N series OEM partnership between NetApp and STG. IBM's broad portfolio of technology services with IBM's N series and NetApp's industry-leading storage products provides comprehensive, innovative infrastructure solutions.

Through this agreement, IBM GTS provides end to end IT services that address storage and server infrastructure optimization as well as infrastructure optimization services for desktop virtualization projects. Together with IBM's N series solutions and the ability to offer the NetApp software portfolio, IBM helps clients improve their alignment of IT assets with current and future business goals, while improving the quality, scalability and reliability of service delivery.
