NetApp Announces Prestigious Judging Panel for the 2007 NetApp Innovation Awards

Sunnyvale, Calif. - December 18, 2007 -- NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) today announced the members selected for the prestigious judging panel for the 2007 NetApp Innovation Awards. Serving on the panel are Pascal Boulard, editor, La Tribune; David Carr, technology editor, Baseline Magazine; Peter Hero, senior advisor, Silicon Valley Community Foundation; Carsten Knop, editor, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung; Chris Mellor, storage editor, Tech World; and Paul Shread, managing editor, Jupitermedia.

Each year, the NetApp Innovation Award winners are selected by a third-party panel of judges who are thought leaders and visionaries in the media and technology communities.

The annual awards recognize NetApp customers who have helped their companies, customers, or communities through innovative deployments of NetApp® products and solutions. For 2007, award recipients in six categories will be honored for achieving positive business or community results using NetApp, demonstrating creativity and thought leadership in data management best practices, and embodying the NetApp "can do" and "create a model company" spirit. Categories include Enterprise Business Applications, Enterprise Infrastructure, SMB, Individual, Humanitarian, and Innovator of the Year. One winner and two finalists will be selected in each category and will receive special recognition at the annual awards ceremony to be held in 2008 at NetApp world headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
