Johnson Information Storage Systems Award from the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), the world's largest technical professional society.

At the IEEE's 24^th Annual Symposium on Mass Storage Systems and Technologies in San Diego, California, Hitz and Lau will be recognized for their innovative contributions to the data storage industry.
