Decru®, a NetApp® company (NASDAQ:
NTAP), will participate at the first annual Data Protection Summit
in Irvine, Calif., March 12-15, 2007. Decru vice president Kevin
Brown will offer perspectives on navigating changes in data
regulation and privacy and lessons learned from the most recent
data breaches and how to avoid them.
The Data Protection Summit 2007 will focus on
how to manage data throughout its lifetime to maximize its value to
the organization, minimize storage costs, achieve regulatory
compliance, meet legal requirements, avoid costly data losses, and

technologies, including encryption, with processes that manage risk
on an ongoing basis. In addition, attendees will learn how to
address data security while avoiding legal liability and regulatory
noncompliance.
