NetApp Demonstrates Storage Solutions for Windows® Applications at Microsoft Tech Ed 2006

What:

Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP) is a Silver Sponsor of this year's Microsoft Tech Ed 2006 conference being held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts. At the conference, NetApp will demonstrate a variety of storage solutions tailored for Microsoft® environments, particularly Exchange and SQL Server, including a demonstration of a beta version of NetApp® SnapManager® for Exchange in conjunction with a beta version of Exchange Server 2007.

Session:

"Fibre Channel and iSCSI Performance Comparison for DSS Workloads" will be presented by Jonas Irwin, product and partner engineer at NetApp. This session will provide attendees with quantifiable metrics of iSCSI performance relative to Fibre Channel protocol (FCP) in a large-scale Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Decision Support System (DSS) environment and demonstrates how iSCSI is appropriate for high-performance applications and database workloads.
