SUNNYVALE, Calif.-July 7, 2010- NetApp's (NASDAQ: NTAP) Social Media Team was honored with a bronze Telly Award for its production of the viral video "Extreme Makeover: Data Center Edition." This marks the second consecutive year that NetApp has been recognized for its innovative and creative use of multimedia and video.

"Extreme Makeover: Data Center Edition" is a viral video that parodies the popular television show by focusing on a fictional group of NetApp employees who overhaul an old data center in one day. Highlighting NetApp's storage efficiency, virtualization, and green technologies, the characters detail how NetApp is able to deliver the best solutions for its customers. The video was created to build and increase awareness of NetApp's unique solutions and technologies and to increase viewership of the NetApp YouTube channel, NetAppTV.
