NetApp Ranks Number 14 on the “Best Workplaces France” List

Sunnyvale , Calif. -March 30, 2009- NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) today announced that it ranks number 14 on a list of the Best Workplaces in France published by Réussir/L'EXPRESS, based on a survey by the Great Place to Work® Institute France. The institute also produces FORTUNE's 100 Best Companies to Work For® list in the United States, where NetApp ranked number one in 2009.

The Great Place to Work Institute produces Best Companies to Work For lists, representing workplaces in 40 countries around the world. Companies are selected for the Best Companies lists primarily on the basis of their employees' responses to the Great Place to Work Trust Index©, a proprietary employee survey developed by the Great Place to Work Institute. Further information used for selection to the list is provided by completion of the Great Place to Work Culture Audit©, a two-part management questionnaire, also developed by the Great Place to Work Institute.

"We are proud to be recognized as one of the best workplaces in France," said Dan Warmenhoven, chairman and CEO of NetApp. "This outstanding achievement is another testament to our strong global culture. The 'Best Workplaces in France' ranking is inspiring because it is based primarily on the opinions of our employees in France about our company culture, trust in leadership, integrity, fairness, and teamwork."

"We are proud to see NetApp France in the top 15, especially since it's the first time we participated in the survey," explains Marc Montiel, area director for NetApp France. "Our impressive 95% employee survey response rate reflects our culture and team spirit within the group."
