The institute also produces FORTUNE's 100 Best Companies to Work For® list in the United States, where NetApp ranked number one in 2009.

The Great Place to Work Institute produces Best Companies to Work For lists, representing workplaces in 40 countries around the world. Companies are selected for the Best Companies lists primarily on the basis of their employees' responses to the Great Place to Work Trust Index©, a proprietary employee survey developed by the Great Place to Work Institute.
