NetApp Channel Chief Named a Top Newsmaker of the Year by CDN Magazine

Sunnyvale, Calif. - December 19, 2008 - NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) today announced that Julie Parrish, vice president of Worldwide Channel Sales, was selected by Computer Dealer News (CDN), one of Canada's leading IT publications, as one of the "Top 25 Newsmakers of the Year."

CDN annually reviews the top trends and the leading IT executives in the channel community that have made the biggest impact on the industry during the year and publishes a special segment at year-end devoted to these top newsmakers.

Parrish began her tenure as NetApp's "channel chief" the first week of November 2008. At NetApp, Parrish is responsible for shaping the strategic vision and execution of the worldwide channel program for the company, including the high-level vision for the global NetApp VIP Program.

"I am honored to receive this recognition from CDN," stated Parrish. "This acknowledgement is very flattering and is a testament to our commitment to invest in our partners, who are vital to helping our customers solve their data management challenges."
