NetApp Recognized for Best Practices in Service and Support

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - July 21, 2008 - NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) today announced that it has received a 2008 Service and Support Professionals Association (SSPA) STAR Award for Best Practices in Knowledge Management. Winners were honored during an awards ceremony at the SSPA Best Practices Conference in Santa Clara, California, where NetApp was also inducted into the SSPA Hall of Fame. This special recognition is awarded to a select group of companies that have won five SSPA STAR Awards since the program's inception in 1989.

The STAR Awards are among the highest honors in the service and support industry, acknowledging the contribution of companies of all sizes to the continual improvement of service and support delivery industry-wide. Winning a STAR Award is a sign of peer recognition and of being one of the best in the business. There are two major categories of STAR Awards: "Service Excellence" and "Best Practices."
